| STORY: The BEAN was born in 1971. It was a company until 1973 when it was decided to go on as a firm thanks to the leadership of the head Giancarlo Beltrame. From the beginning the production is based on the religious sector. Some years later market researches drive the firm toward a further secular production of souvenirs. However , the Bean decides to specialize in the religious output again after a short time. OUTLINE OF THE FIRM: The head’s wish to set the firm at an intermediate level between the craft workshop, which is synonymous both with care and versatility of organization and production, and the industrial activity has allowed the Bean’s placing among the Italian leaders of the sector at an international level too. In fact, in 1979 the firm begins to penetrate the foreign markets with profit. In particular, it focuses on the main European markets such as “Lourdes” , in which it prevails thanks to the variety and exclusiveness of its products , and “Fatima”. Moreover, the Bean has managed to capture an important market position at “Chestochowa” by means of a specialized production. BUSINESS PHILOSOPHY: The firm, which has always researched a perfect equilibrium between industry and craftmanship, does not hamper the attainment of adequate quantitative levels without the least qualitative decadence. |
